About Event
EMITT, the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition, is an annual trade event at the Istanbul Expo Center (IFM), organised by ICA Events. It counts among the region's principal tourism fairs.
The exhibition assembles destinations, tourism boards, hotels, airlines and travel-service providers around the East Mediterranean market and beyond.
Tour operators and travel agencies negotiate programmes and contracts for the coming season, while destinations present themselves to the trade. Istanbul's role as an aviation hub between Europe, Asia and Africa gives EMITT a naturally international audience and keeps the annual edition central to regional travel-industry planning.
